Hi, I'm Joni Eareckson Tada. Not long ago I was up at the Taft Correctional Facility in California to see exactly how the prisoners there were doing with our wheelchairs which they refurbish for our Wheels for the World outreach trips. And I tell you, these men, were doing such a fine job—polishing chrome, screwing on new leather backings. These are guys who are being truly rehabilitated: they have gone from stealing to "doing something useful" as it says in Ephesians so that they might have something to share with those in need. And friend, it’s not only prisoners who can do something useful—you can too! You can help people in your community and around the world in so many ways. Not sure how? Well, at joniandfriends.org we have plenty opportunities and resources for you to serve people with disabilities. So, today, do something to share with those in need.
