Margaret's Story

Back in the sixties, Margaret was a flower child. She had it all, even a Volkswagen van!

I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and back in the sixties, Margaret was a flower child. She had it all, even a Volkswagen van! And on the back of her VW, she had a bumper sticker for almost every religion or philosophy, but her investigation of those religions went about as thick as a bumper sticker. One day, someone tucked a note on her windshield which contained just one word: Decide. That’s all, just… “Decide.” In that moment, Margaret knew what the note meant. And so that day, in a parking lot, she yielded her life to Christ, as much as she knew how. Then she got connected with Christians and began to fervently study the Word of God.  Maybe you’re a little like Margaret, toying with things you know you shouldn’t, still dabbling in other religions. If so, Joshua chapter 24 has a word for you: “Choose...this day whom you will serve.” Choose. In other words, today, decide.
