Remember in Exodus when God became disgruntled with his people and their grumbling?

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. Remember in Exodus when God became disgruntled with his people and their grumbling? He told Moses that he wouldn’t go through the wilderness before his people, but would send an angel instead. But that’s when Moses pleaded, “Lord, if you won’t go before us, then we’re staying put.” Moses prevailed; and God personally led his people through the wilderness. And it’s been that way ever since. Friend, it’s a wilderness out there, and please don’t think God has left you in your pilgrimage to an angel’s guidance – no, your earthly journey is far too important to leave to mere angels. Isaiah chapter 58, verse 11 assures that “the Lord shall guide you continually.” God will not merely guide you sometimes, but all the time. You need never wander in circles. Just stay hot on the heels of your Lord, and his guiding hand will always lead the way.
