It's a Mystery

This is Joni Eareckson Tada, and my husband, Ken, reads ravenously! He’s a big fan of military books and mysteries. He must go through three or four books a month. And he so looks forward to reading those mysteries every night – even when we travel. Mystery novels are his thing. Why is it that we, like Ken, are so drawn to mysteries? It’s just in us to want to get to the bottom of it all. Well, guess what: it’s in God's nature to hide things; that’s why we have to accept some things by faith. It says in Proverbs, "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter." I find that fascinating! Because the most mysterious wonder we could ever hope to grasp is Jesus Christ Himself. And the end of this mystery? The Bible promises you will find Him when you seek Him with all your heart!
