Hit the Reset Button

I'm sure you’ve used a reset button many times. Like, what would we do without them?

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and I'm sure you’ve used a reset button many times. Like, what would we do without them? A reset button means ‘forget the past, clear the slate, and enjoy a fresh start.’ Reset buttons happen not only in electronics, but in life. I'm thinking of the Laughlin Family who, three years ago, came to a Joni and Friends’ Family Retreat. I'm thinking of Jason, who has cerebral palsy. He and his family have been coming to Family Retreat for three years and he has formed a close bond with the same volunteer. And mom and dad, well they put it this way, Jason’s mother said, “Family Retreat is our reset button for the year. Just like you can restart or reboot your electronics, Joni and Friends gives us what we need for the other 51 weeks.” God bless that family, and if you know a special-needs family like them, tell them about Family Retreat. Watch some great videos and get all the details at joniandfriends.org.
