On the final evening of the National Religious Broadcasters convention, Joni was inducted into the NRB Hall of Fame at the awards dinner. Joni is flanked at the presentation by Rich Bott, chairman, and Dr. Frank Wright, CEO. Amidst a standing ovation, Joni thanked her friends at Ambassador Agency, particularly Al Sanders and Jon Campbell, for planting the vision for the “Joni and Friends” radio program which, this year, celebrates 30 years on the air. “I also want to thank Doug Mazza and the leadership at Joni and Friends for encouraging me to continue in Christian broadcasting,” said Joni after the presentation. Drop Joni a note of congratulations on this blog, and be sure to visit our Radio Page to enjoy listening to several of Joni’s recent programs. From all of us here at the Joni and Friends International Disability Center, we say to our friend, “Congratulations, Joni!”
