Chair Corps

Meet the group of people who collect used, but serviceable wheelchairs from Los Angeles to the border of California – it's called the Inland Empire, and this wonderful team crisscrosses that region, gathering hundreds of wheelchairs for our Wheels for the World outreaches. One told me, "Joni, when my friend asked me to help collect mobility equipment, I told her I would pray about it – but that afternoon when I saw a walker at a garage sale, and I told the owner about Wheels for the World, she gave it to me. Then it happened again, the same day, at another garage sale! I figured the Lord was telling me 'get involved!'" I love the stories of how people, across the country, get on board with Wheels for the World and collecting wheelchairs. Join the Chair Corps and do the same in your region!
