You had been on the air four years when I started working in Christian radio at WBCL Fort Wayne at age 16. Your songs, your stories, and the movie about your life were all part of my experience growing up. Later, you and I met at an NAB meeting of radio station personnel when you were launching Wheels for the World. God continued to do amazing things through you, this humble artist who painted with her teeth, and loved from her beautiful heart. Your writings, your quiet insistence on the mercy of God in the face of suffering, and your spiritual authority to deliver that message to the world, continue to speak to me, and to this entire generation. Thank you, Joni, for being a joyful participant in what God is doing through you. With love and gratitude, congratulations on this milestone. AmyLu Riley amylu-riley.com

Joni you have done more with less to help, encourage and inspire than most with all! I could always count on receiving exactly what God would have you give me at the time I needed it. Thank you for loving Jesus and sharing Him with the World!

I had Paul bring a radio in to the hospital when I was on a ventilator and so I could listen to 88.1 Family Life Radio for positive Christian music and messages, your Joni and Friends gave me hope for recovery, took 3 months but I finally was weaned from the ventilator and have been on oxygen since 2009. Thank you for your encouraging messages.

I listen to Joni and Friends every morning on the way home from picking up my granddaughter. The stories are an inspiration to me. They lift my spirit when I am feeling down. When I feel the weight of what I see as problems weigh me down....I am lifted up by others...and my issues don't seem so bad anymore.

I have been blessed by Joni s testimony since I was a teen. I remember buying her cards and then I read her first book. I am a mother of 13 children and I have shown my children her video. I have referred to Joni many times as a person God used even though she had great difficulties throughout life. I listen to WDER in my car many times and every time I hear Joni give a "talk" I am inspired with even a few of her words. She is someone who has every reason to give up, to be bitter, to be depressed and yet she shows us every day God is bigger ! An now I enjoy seeing her posts on Facebook. Thank you!

I often heard Joni on the radio while I was driving my daughter, who had CP and was deaf, to and from school or therapy or doctor's visits. Hearing the beauty of her words and voice always made me feel encouraged. I knew the person speaking understood my struggles and fears and heartache. What a blessing! Thank you Joni!!!

I live in a small town in Alabama. God reminds me he will provide for me through the Joniandfriends radio show. Twenty-eight years ago my sister built a retirement home to get me out of the nursing homes. At the time I didn"t know she had Lupus. I didn"t know what it was until I research on the internet. Last month she sold the Maganoila hours because of her health. I don"t have what God has for me.
