Greg and Tiffany“At Family Retreat, Greg and I experienced something in our marriage that we could never experience anywhere else!” said Tiffany. “God is at the center of everything at Retreat, drawing us closer to Him and closer as a family. Because our children are completely cared for, we’re able to care for our marriage. As a couple, we’re stronger and closer than ever because of our time here.” Families with disability face enormous challenges and marriages often crumble under the burden. With your support, God is using Family Retreats to heal marriages and knit homes together once again. And because you pray, even divorce papers have been cancelled at Family Retreat as husbands and wives find each other again in Christ’s love. “Families affected by disability tend to do things apart,” explained Greg. “Just covering the bases every day separates us. Joni and Friends makes it possible for us to be together as a family and as a couple – to experience all these wonderful memories together.” 6-year-old Aiden agrees. “Family Retreat is the best week of my life – it’s better than Disneyland!” Praise God with us for marriages and families that discover His joy all over again at Family Retreat! Dear Joni, A marriage vow is holy to God and ought not to be broken. But the pressure upon married people is greater than upon not married people Paul said in 1 Cor 7:28.Therefore I vowed to God to remain single be- cause of schizophrenia. The revelations God gives are greater for me than the happiness of a marriage under much strain in my own situation. It doesn't apply to everyone,I would like to add!
